Audio Archive: The Holly Johnson Story

Olivia collated and curated an audio archive to accompany The Holly Johnson Story exhibition at The Museum of Liverpool (14 Sep 2024—27 Jul 2025). Recording oral history interviews with members of Liverpool's creative community from the 1980s, focussing on the city's LGBTQ+ creative scene in the 80’s and 90’s, and the artistic community's response to the HIV and AID’s epidemic. The final work explored the growth of grassroots art from a small community to a global stage and highlighted the emergence of LGBTQ+ culture of the time. Both pieces of audio are available to listen as podcasts.
